I am a traditionally trained graphic designer and have been working in the
business since 1983. I have actually been freelance since 1991 but advances in
technology mean that I can again work on large scale projects as part of a team
without leaving home!
The Virtual Studio for a busy team
If you are busy you will probably not have room in your studio for another
designer. But I can still be part of the team. I can work on single pages,
parts of pages, whole sections, from templates or on amendments. With the use
of emails, PDFs and FTP sites the finished pages can be back in your system
almost as fast as if I were working there. With the big advantage that I will
only charge for the hours I do - not the travelling and the waiting for
information!
Working from a studio at home means that I can be flexible when a schedule
starts to become a nightmare. I can work into the evening if necessary and take
the dog for a walk if there is a delay. And not having to commute does wonders
for productivity!
I am also happy to be involved in any stage of a job, I can provide you with
templates for your in house team to work on or I can take over corrections of a
nearly completed job.
I can also be available to work in-house if the project requires it. Whether for
the whole project or for briefings and meetings.

graphic design from time to time; I can be here for you when you need me and
not be a financial burden when you don

I can email you PDFs of work in progress which we can discuss over the phone and
if things get a bit panicky I can come in with the lap top and we can go
through things together.
